SERVICES

NextGen Engineering offers an all-inclusive service for every phase of the plant design, from concept design to handover. We work together with the Client to define objectives and budgets, integrating design skills, BIM modelling, energy simulations and construction management.

Thanks to an interdisciplinary approach and advanced tools, we guarantee the best technical and economic solutions, reducing risks, mistakes and implementation times. Environmental sustainability and energy efficiency are the headlines of all our activities, with continuous monitoring of plant performance.

System design

Design starts with a first assessment of the building with customer to understand needs, technical constraints and budget of the intervention. Based on this information, we define functional schemes, layouts and system specifications, from choices of materials to type of system (mechanical, electrical, fire prevention, lighting).

We use CAD and BIM software to create detailed projects that allow us to identify interferences and optimize system design. At the same time, we run energy analyses, from stationary analyses to hourly simulations, depending on the needs and type of plant. This allows us to evaluate thermal loads, as well as identify potential improvements in energy consumption.

At the end of design phase, we deliver to the Customer a complete folder of documents and drawings, ready for tender and construction phase.

Site supervision

During construction phase, NGE guarantees constant attendance on site to check correct installation of materials and components, according to the project specifications and current rules. We check monthly SAL of construction company, we coordinate assembly and manage any variations, ensuring punctuality and transparency to the client.

Our intervention includes works quality control, functional tests on the systems and final handover, in alliance with verification and certification bodies. We provide detailed reports with photos and surveys, to control the progress of work and promptly resolve any critical issues.

At the end of the work we support the final handover, assisting the Customer in the commissioning and staff training operations, ensuring the correct start-up and full efficiency of systems.

Due Diligence

Technical Due Diligence starts with the analysis of documents provided by the Client, to assess the compliance of the systems with monitoring and functional standards. If necessary, we integrate this phase with site inspections, surveys and thermography to check actual configuration.

Based on quantitative and qualitative data, we draft technical reports with trend graphs and predictive simulations, to identify inefficiencies, faults or potential operating risks. Each report includes detailed recommendations on maintenance interventions, rule compliance or energy optimization.

This approach allows the Client to make informed choices, from refurbished of systems to asset planning, with well-defined payback time and environmental scenarios.

Plant optimization

Plant optimization begins with consumption monitoring and systems performance through energy bills and BMS data, estimating energy indexes and load curves. We compare real data with typological parameters to identify misalignments, regulation anomalies or energy waste.

We propose low-cost interventions, such as modification of BMS logic or installation of valves and regulators, and, only if necessary, more complex revamping with upgrades of key components. Each proposal is completed with energy simulations that quantify potential savings and the payback time.

Thanks to this iterative and data-driven strategy, we are able to significantly reduce consumption and environmental impact, guaranteeing to the Customer a rapid return on investment and high-performance systems.
