NextGen Engineering is an engineering services company

History

NextGen Engineering was born from decades of experience gained in international engineering firms. The aim of NGE is to propose a tailor-made service in the plant engineering sector. We offer consultancy and design for mechanical, electrical and other systems in the civil and industrial sectors, using modern instruments such as BIM, dynamic simulations and energy analyses to guarantee optimal solutions in terms of performance and operating costs.

Our goal is to lead the Client in all construction phases, from the concept to post-construction support. Thanks to an integrated and interdisciplinary approach, we coordinate design, construction management and system optimization activities, ensuring maximum quality, regulatory compliance and attention to energy efficiency, for more sustainable and high-performance buildings.

Team

Human capital is the driving force of NextGen Engineering: each member has specialized technical skills and consolidated experience in interdisciplinary teams. Designers, BIM specialists and project managers collaborate daily to find innovative solutions, following projects of different complexity, from single building to large-scale projects.

Founders

Eng. Filippo Nocentini

After graduating in Civil Engineering, Eng. Nocentini starts his career at INRES (COOP group), working with complex systems for large shopping centers. Later, at STIMP he grew from designer to project manager, managing customers and suppliers.

At the same time, he was a research fellow at the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Florence, where he provided consultancy for the real estate office of University and studied complex energy systems and trigeneration systems.

Specialized in hourly and sub-hourly dynamic simulations, he applies advanced models to optimize the energy efficiency of buildings and systems.
His publications on smart cities and energy efficiency reflect his passion for innovative and sustainable solutions in the plant engineering sector.

Eng. Federico Costanzi

Graduated in Energy Engineering, Eng. Costanzi starts in STIMP working on systems for residential buildings, office buildings and shopping centers, becoming project manager.

After moving to ESA Engineering, he integrated advanced BIM skills in MEP design and participated in large urban redevelopment projects. He designs systems of different types to integrate different intended uses, through centralized systems.

Passionate about energy efficiency and renewable energy, he designed large-scale solutions for different uses, optimizing costs and consumption.
He combines an analytical approach and management skills to guarantee high-performance and sustainable system projects.
